The registration at Central Bank of Brazil is mandatory for this investment type – RDE-IED module (Electronic Declaratory Registration – External Direct Investment, of company, investor whether individual or legal entity.
The initial investment must be registered, and its changes and all company’s events or contractual events changing the shareholding of foreign investor.
Foreign investor shareholding in share capital of Brazilian Company and its changes:
→ Inflow of currency (contribution) and goods in the country
→ Credits conversion into investment
→ Disposal/Purchase of the equity, whether resident and non-resident
→ Profits/ dividends distribution
→ Distribution of interest on equity (JCSP)
